Energy: For thirty five
years, we have been telling congress to make us energy independent. Now is the time. Offshore and inland oil fields, coal,
gas, and nuclear power belong to you, the American people. The government says that they are not safe, too dirty, or that
it is destroying the planet.
Until we get to a point for alternative fuel sources, we need to
drill, pipe, dig, and build our way out of foreign energy dependency. Thirty five years is long enough.
Economy: The stock market financial crisis has banks folding. What
does congress do? They give $700 billion away. This country is tens of trillions of dollars in debt. We should not spend money
that we do not have. Successful small and large business drive the economy, so why does congress give so much money to failing
businesses?
